The Songwriters Association of Canada, Manitoba Music and the Manitoba Country Music Association have lined up an incredible night of talent for the next Bluebird North event at The Park Theatre on Thursday February 2, 2012.

What: Bluebird North Concert featuring Doc Walker’s Murray Pulver, Ridley Bent, MacKenzie Porter and Marc-Alan Barnette
When: Thursday February 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Park Theatre (698 Osborne Street), Winnipeg, Manitoba
Tickets: $15 at the door, $12 for Manitoba Music, Songwriters Association of Canada and MCMA members

New for the Bluebird North concert series in 2012 is the addition of a Young Artists Showcase. Five young musicians: Brenton Thorvaldson, Brennan Wall, Karl Shewchuk, Kim Erickson and Shannon Patterson will get the chance to play a short set at 7:30 p.m. before the main stage acts come on.

Citytv Breakfast Television host Jenna Khan will emcee.

In Winnipeg, Bluebird North is produced by Chris Burke-Gaffney and Janice Starodub for the S.A.C.
